The grass drag area has received several improvements designed to create a better racing surface and safer shutdown area.
Longer Starting Area
The starting line has been moved back approximately 50–70 feet for an improved run.
Better Slow-Down Area
Improvements have been made to the shutdown area to enhance racer safety.
Smoother Surface
A highway roller is being used to help create a smoother, better-prepared racing surface.
